About
Insurance covers the rare disaster. We cover the ordinary week.
Hospitalisation cover is well served in India. The consultations, tests and medicines that make up almost all of what people actually spend are not.
Most people in India will never make a hospitalisation claim in a given year. Nearly all of them will see a doctor, get a test done, and buy medicine. That spending is paid out of pocket, in cash, month after month, and no policy touches it.
Where OPD cover does exist, it works by reimbursement: you pay, you keep the receipt, you fill in a form, you upload it, you wait, and some weeks later you get part of it back. Enough people give up partway that the model only works because they do.
We built the opposite. The bill is settled at the counter, with the provider, before you ever hold it. There is no claim to file because there is no claim.
The same reasoning runs through the rest of it — second opinions because major decisions deserve a second read, care programmes because a single consultation rarely fixes a chronic problem, and group cover for small teams because the industry’s twenty-employee minimum leaves out most companies in the country.
