Most insurers put the exclusions in a PDF nobody opens. Ours are on the homepage, in the same size type as everything else.

Hospitalisation
This is OPD cover. Admitted care needs a health insurance policy.
Cosmetic procedures
Anything elective and aesthetic, including hair transplants.
Over-the-counter purchases
Medicines bought without a prescription on file.
Out-of-network visits
We settle at partner providers. Elsewhere, you'd pay yourself.
Spectacles and lenses
The eye test is covered. The frames and lenses aren't.
Alternative therapies
Ayurveda, homeopathy and the like, unless your plan adds them.

Search the network for a clinic, lab or pharmacy near you. Most people have one within a few kilometres.

Show your card
At the counter, before you pay. There is no form to fill in and nothing to pre-approve.

Walk out
We settle with the provider directly. No receipts to keep, no claim to file, no waiting for money back.
